The design for Crystal 2 was actually mostly Carmen Cederlof's idea. She told me that she didn't like how unnaturally symmetrical my Abstract Crystal was. I agreed to create a second model, but I knew that creating the new one would be a lot more work than the first. (It was only harder for me at the time because I was still pretty green at this whole Papercraft thing.) So I set to work on a new crystal while Carmen folded me up a new Tasty Mushroom, because the first one that I had done... sucked. A lot.

This complex beveled heart was made made for Valentine's day 2008 with a lover that I had immense passion for... but after certain events came to pass, all the positive emotions I had associated with this model were replaced with bitter, bitter hatred.

Though it pains me to look at this from time to time, I am still very proud of my work on this model.
