Have any of you ever played with Processing? It’s free, open source, AND it’s nifty! It’s the tool behind the amazing works of Bees & Bombs, Echophon, p5art, and even a few of my own GIFs. Haven’t played with it before? The video tutorials over at hello.processing.org are a really simple and fun way to break into the creative coding scene. Give it a try!
Some artists like Dave Bees from Bees & Bombs go the extra distance and help others learn about how to get better at this tool, and it’s thanks to him that I’m able to share this little kit - He provided me with the original algorithm for the motion blur approach that I’ve got in there now. I was talking with Echophon earlier today about how he hadn’t yet figured out how to get anti-aliasing into a few of his sketches, so I wrote this up for him to help out - I can’t wait to see what you create, man!
